Let’s make lentil soup. then, turn it gourmet!

It's soup weather… Almost?! And the Energy Clusters are around this season to take all of your soup creations to another level of deliciousness.

Hint: You don't need to worry about rushing to the supermarket to get your spices. All you need is in that Gourmet 40g packet of wonderfully activated nuts & seeds, beetroot, and that's special blend of spices that make you go mmmmmmm.

The flavor burst our Beetroot & Cumin clusters will add to an already amazing Carrot & Lentil soup with their hints of Cumin, Caraway, & Nigella seeds is more than nutritiously satisfying...it’s deliciously complex.

For the soup:

Activate* and boil a cup of lentils.

Steam 4 medium carrots and 1 small onion.

In a blender place 1 cup of boiled lentils, carrots & the onion (don’t forget to peel it), 1 cup of warm water, 1 tsp pink Himalayan salt, 1/2 tsp caraway powder, 1/2 tsp all spice, 2 tbsps of EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) and 2-3 tbsps of lemon juice.

Now… sprinkle those purple hued clusters on your bowl of lentil goodness and dig in.

YUM! I can hear the crunch. Can you smell the deliciousness?

* Activating your lentils: Soak your lentils at least overnight; even better, for a day or two (while changing the soaking water every few hours). Just do a big batch, boil, throw the water you boiled them in, cool, and freeze in small portions. You will be very happy you have them in your freezer next time you remember this recipe.
